'22/'23 MY Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak
Few races are more daunting than the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, a ruthless combination of 156 corners through treacherous terrain and unpredictable conditions, demanding respect and leaving zero room for error. To succeed here, men and machines are put in a crucible requiring them to be exceptional in all areas and lacking in none.

Ducati has built a legacy at the Pikes Peak, with seven victories under legendary racers Greg Tracy and the late Carlin Dunne before motorcycles were barred from competition following Dunne’s tragedy in 2019. Even Cycle World’s own Don Canet and Mark Cernicky had their share of success aboard Bologna-based machinery at the Race to the Clouds. If there’s one manufacturer that knows what it takes to conquer the Mountain, Ducati is it.

'23 MY Monster +
The Ducati Monster is an icon of Italian motorcycling style. The newest incarnation is a stylistic departure from the original, but by using Borgo Panigale’s latest chassis designs, it’s philosophically truer to the original than it’s been for years.

With much of the same tech, less weight, a nice dose of go-fast eagerness, and a cheaper price tag than its stablemates, it’s arguably the best value in the Ducati lineup.

'23 MY Monster SP
The coolest monster under any bed. Make no mistake this neatly blinged-up Monster is a worthy addition to Ducati’s range of SPs. On the road it’s uncut fun and comes without a trace of ego or intimidation. It’s not overcomplicated and delivers meaty V-twin power as well as a little more bark from its Termignoni pipe.

The base-model Monster seems made for the SP treatment, and you won’t be surprised to learn that that comprises of Öhlins suspension at both ends, higher-spec Brembo Stylema brakes, a weight reduction (due mainly to a lighter lithium-ion battery and road-legal Termignoni silencer), plus a few sporty tweaks such as new steering damper and a move from Pirelli Diablo Rosso III rubber to Rosso IV. There’s also exclusive styling, including a small fly screen and an attractive SP-only livery.
