2024 Honda Monkey and Super Cub First Look
Honda has announced the return of two nostalgic miniMOTO machines for 2024: the Super Cub C125 and the Monkey (read and watch our original review during the 2019 Honda Monkey First Ride Review). Both bikes are unchanged from last year, apart from a $50 increase in MSRP for both. That puts the Super Cub at $3,899 and the Monkey at $4,299.

Both bikes pack Honda’s now tried-and-true 124cc single, also found in the popular Grom. The Super Cub retains its semi-automatic four-speed transmission while the Monkey will come with a five-speed manual setup (first introduced in the 2022 model-year Grom).
Honda’s Super Cub is back in Pearl Gray.
While both bikes have earned a place in the annals of Honda’s history books, the Super Cub remains the brand’s most popular machine ever. Thanks to approachable elements like its step-through design, effortless functionality, light weight, and friendly feel during rides around town, it promises to remain a favorite of riders who are new to riding or simply looking for an affordable, fuel-efficient commuter.
The new Pearl Black Honda Monkey.
The Monkey traces its lineage back to the mid-20th century as well, but provides a more sporty ride. That’s thanks to dual-purpose tires, more robust suspension setup, higher-spec braking components, and standard ABS (the Super Cub does come with front-end ABS, it should be noted).
For 2024 riders can still get their hands on a Pearl Gray Super Cub or choose a Monkey in either Pearl Nebula Red or Pearl Black.
