Getting the motorcycle is only the first step. Once you’ve got the wheels, you’ll probably want to hit the road as soon as possible. While it can be fun to just start riding without knowing where you’re going, a destination can also be helpful. That’s why V1 Moto has provided some of our favorite rides in the Houston, Texas, area. You can also stop by our dealership to check out the motorcycles we have available right now.

Sam Houston National Forest

Sam Houston National Forest is over 160,000 acres big. That’s a lot of riding to do. Check out some of the forest maps to see where all the entrances are and plot out some of the best stopping points. This could include the Lone Star Hiking Trail or the Big Creek Scenic Area. Both offer excellent opportunities to see some of the region’s most beautiful vistas and wildlife areas. In fact, there are lots of hiking trails, and it’s one of the best ways to explore the region. Take your time and enjoy all this area has to offer.

Texas Hill Country

Traveling a little farther west, you’ll start to enter Texas Hill Country. This massive span of the state can be explored in a number of ways. There’s the Willow City Loop which takes you through the hilly countryside while also leading you to some of the quaint towns in the area. There’s also the Twisted Sisters, one of the more famous routes of the area. Just prepare for a long ride and a relaxing day of wind in the face and mile after mile of asphalt.

These are just a couple of routes you can check out, but there are so many more to be explored. That’s why you’ll want the right motorcycle to have your back. If you’re still looking for the right set of wheels, stop by V1 Moto and let us know what kind of bike you’re looking for.
