Chelly Morris - Customer Spotlight

We love that we get to be a part of rider’s motorcycling stories. This time we put the spotlight on Chelly Morris.

1. This is our first Customer Spotlight with a woman, so we’re kinda nervous. Let’s break this ice with what it was like for you getting into motorcycling. How did it all begin?
   It all started a few years ago when my older brother taught me to ride. I didnt really know what i was doing but he showed me what to do. I ended up laying his bike down a couple times in the neighborhood while practicing. Thankfully he was nice about it and told me it was all part of the process. About a year ago my boyfriend bought a 600 and i usually ride with him, his friends and it's so much fun! Fast forward to a few weeks ago when i bought my first motorcycle 🏍 😅- i still haven't dropped it yet! *fingers crossed*.
   
   
2. It takes a certain fearlessness riding motorcycles - especially a sport bike, where do you draw your confidence from?
   I guess I've always been a bit of a daredevil or adrenaline junkie! I love heights or anything that freaks me out a little bit. I fly most days out of the month (being a flight attendant) so i love the feel of adrenaline i get while flying, turbulence, skydiving, rollercoasters, things like that. And i get that same free feeling while riding a motorcycle. Nothing beats the feeling of freedom!
   
   
3. What is your favorite place to ride to in Houston?
   I've only ridden for a short time and so far it's mostly been to the gym. I can't wait to take it to Sam Houston National Park Forest and ride the "twisties".
   
   
   
4. You chose to get the Honda CBR300R, what was it about that motorcycle that spoke to you – and can you tell us what it said?
   Honestly, i wanted a starter bike and I walked in and saw my bike and it was ON SALE 😍 (a girl just can't turn that down). It was the perfect bike for me!
   
   
5. We’d like to think we treat everyone with respect, but you tell us. How was your experience buying your bike from V1 MOTO?
   My experience with V1 Moto was great! Luis helped me and answered any and all questions i had. As well as a follow-up a couple weeks after i bought it just to make sure everything was going smooth! I can't wait to go back in the future and buy a Ducati! Lol
