Mark Trachman: 5 questions!

Periodically we will spotlight a member of our team so that you may know us a little when you come in. This time it's Mark Trachman and we chose these questions just for him.

1. Hey Mark, please tell the folks what you do at V1 MOTO.
I am the Master Honda Technician here at V-1 Moto.  I do repairs , services, modifications, and upgrades to all Honda Motorcycles.

2. We’re excited to have you V1 MOTO, can you please tell us some of your previous motorcycle related accomplishments?
I was a Motocross racer since age 10 and did my first top end and many other repairs at the age of 10.  After a 5 years military active duty and another short career, I finally found my way to the motorcycle industry. After becoming a Master Technician for Yamaha I spent three years as Yamaha Service manager, and then became a Honda technician in 2013.

3. How did you get into motorcycling in the first place?
I got into motorcycling when I was eight years old, and my father decided that a mini bike was the best babysitter on the planet; and it was! I've been riding ever since.

4. Of all the bikes that V1 MOTO has, which one fits your personality and why?
The Africa twin suits me best with its ability to offer a plush ride, and adventure into almost any terrain.

5. And finally, Jimmy the shoeshine boy says you can single-handedly tear down and rebuild a Gold Wing transmission, is that true – and is it as hard as speaking Spanish to Ed?
Tell Jimmy the shoeshine boy I want to test ride it when he's done.
